Marie Reginato is a two-time cookbook author, cooking video host, chef and wellness expert named MindBodyGreen’s ‘Best New Health Food Account’.

With a refreshing approach to healthy cooking, Marie has grown her social media presence to over 65,000 sharing her daily cooking expertise through droll worthy food cooking videos and vibrant photography.

Based in Los Angeles, Marie and her in-house videography team, lead by Julia Ensign, create high-quality cooking videos for health brands. From wellness lifestyle videos created for Vitamix and MindBodyGreen, to intimate cooking videos for California Avocado, Blue Diamond and many more.

Combining her love for connecting through cooking, Marie has hosted sought after hands on demo experiences across the country with leading wellness brand Well+Good at their critically acclaimed retreats. Her ability to effortlessly motivate and inspire audiences has lead to hosting talks at Pinterest’s headquarters and she has been the keynote motivational speaker at Picture Perfect’s women empowerment event in San Francisco.

With her signature energetic charisma, she brings a lightness to her cooking experiences by creating a fun environment sharing health tips and tricks - empowering all to start cooking delicious meals back in their very own kitchen.

About Me

I come from an Italian family filled with fishermen, butchers, and home cooks, yet cooking never appealed to me. Instead, I did what most kids from the 90’s did: ate Twinkies for breakfast and bagel bites for lunch. It wasn’t until I left to study Agricultural Business at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where my curiosity for food evolved. I learned all I could about food, nutrition, bee keeping (yup, that was an actual class), and everything in-between (literally, even a soil science class). Then I took it a step further, left for a year in Italy, and met a local family who shifted my entire perspective of food. I picked up a pan, fruity olive oil and learned how to cook seasonally by an Italian family. And can you guess what we made? Pasta! A vibrant basil enrobed pasta sauce with a mountain of veggies and seafood. It was glorious. Comfort food done right.

When I returned home, I bought a camera, took classes in nutrition and taught myself how to cook healthy meals. Fast forward a few years and I am now a 2x cookbook author, cooking video host, led motivational speaking engagements, and host wellness retreats.

About my recipes

Most of my recipes celebrate fresh veggies, fresh seafood (I’m a butcher's daughter), and lots of dark chocolate. Inspired by my travels, I harness the flavors of global ingredients and infuse them with my California roots to create mouthwatering meals that are always anchored in health and freshness. 

Simplicity and flexibility is at the core, so have fun with these recipes! Experiment, play, be curious and whatever you do, don’t take it too seriously. It’s just a meal, albeit, a very delicious one :)
